Watch Trends 2019
Wondering what watch trends are going to be big in 2019? We’ve picked out some of our favourite new releases this year’s SIHH in Geneva and Baselworld 2019.
Tag Heuer reintroduced the Autavia as a standalone line. The key difference in the new Autavia range is the carbon-composite hairspring technology that distinguishes each piece as an Isograph. The range comes in a variety of different dial & strap colour combinations.
IWC showcased the PILOT’S WATCH CHRONOGRAPH TOP GUN EDITION “MOJAVE DESERT. The sand-coloured ceramic inspired by the Mojave Desert where the US Navy holds an Air Station. The bi-directional pawl-winding system allows for an impressive 46 hour power reserve. The warm toned brown dial and beige rubber strap were designed to perfectly match the flying suits of the US Navy pilots. This model is limited to 500 pieces, so if you’d like to be top of the list be sure to let us know!
Breitling had several new offerings at this year’s Baselworld. Our favourite was the Premier B01 Chronograph 42 Norton Edition. This watch marks the partnership between Breitling and Norton, a British motorcycle company renowned for their high performance motorcycles. Breitling characterised the style of this timepiece at ‘urban chic’, and we agree that this watch is perfect for fashion conscious wearers. The black dial is the perfect background to contrast against the gold hands and numerals. We also love this brown raw-leather strap which gives this watch a rugged, vintage feel. This watch features a 70 hour power reserve.

TUDOR main watch reveal was the much talked about Black Bay P01. This watch is based prototype developed in the late 1960s and proposed to the US Navy. We love the unique aesthetic of this watch. Key design features include the crown placed at 4 o’clock and a hybrid leather and rubber strap. The snowflake hands are an unmissable Tudor trademark. We predict that this watch will definitely a top pick for collectors or for those who want their timepiece to stand out from more traditional designs. Key features of this watch include:
