Portofino Chronograph 39

Since it was first presented in 1984, the Portofino line has established itself as one of IWC Schaffhausen’s most loved collections. The secret of its sustained success lies in the reduced, classically elegant design. It can be identified by its minimalist round case with straight lugs, appliquéd indices and Roman numerals, and slender feuille hands. For many years, chronographs have formed an integral part of the collection, lending it a subtle, sporty touch. The Portofino Chronograph 39 impresses with a slightly more compact case diameter of 39 millimeters and the signature pushers. This new model features a stainless steel case and silver-plated dial. The blue hands and appliqués harmonise with the blue strap, which is made of fine alligator leather. The minute counter at 12 o’clock and the small seconds at 6 o’clock provide an especially well-balanced dial layout.
