The Peace & Love pendant: a unique piece for a special event.
- Nov 11, 2020
The Peace & Love pendant is a unique piece created for a special event. This is an annual fundraising event hosted by RSA chief and Chernobyl Children International (CCI) board director Liz O’Donnell, with businessman, talent manager and CCI board director Noel Kelly will commemorate the 30th anniversary of Chernobyl. This lovingly designed bespoke pendant is the creation of Ali Hewson and Paul Sheeran. This one of a kind pendant was designed and crafted in 18ct white gold by Paul Sheeran’s in house master goldsmith in our store off Grafton Street. The step by step process was over seen by both Ali and Paul Sheeran. The pendant was created to meet both their personal and professional requirements. The journey began with a consultation between Ali, Paul and the master goldsmith at Paul Sheeran Jewellers. The initial inspiration came from Ali herself and the design detail was added by Paul. Once they established the design, the process of creating this unique and beautiful pendant began. Using only the highest quality materials and diamonds, the pendant began to take shape. The entire journey of this pendant was documented and the meticulous skill of the goldsmith was very evident as the pendant started to become a reality. In the end the story concludes with this incredibly meaningful and beautifully handmade ‘peace and love’ pendant, which tells the story of what both Ali and Paul set out to create and this unforgettable piece of bespoke jewellery will no doubt will be treasured by the owner. The piece will be auctioned today at Liz and Noel's lunch to raise much needed funds at the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster. The lunch will be at Fire Restaurant, Dawson Street. All the tables for the lunch are already sold out to generous supporters from some of Ireland’s well-known business organisations.
